1) Summary

Thril (“we”) collects information you provide (such as your name, username, and email), and information collected automatically (such as device data, usage analytics, and crash logs). With your permission, we may collect location (precise or approximate). We use this information to provide and improve the Service, personalize your experience, keep the Service secure, provide customer support, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal information.

This Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use Thril.

  • Customer support information: messages and any information you choose to include.
  • User Content: videos, photos, captions, comments, and other materials you upload or submit.

  • Usage analytics: interactions, content viewed, features used, performance diagnostics.
  • Crash logs: crash and error details to improve stability.

2.3 Location (With Permission)

If you allow location access, we may collect precise location and/or approximate location. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings.

2.4 Cookies, Similar Technologies, and Web Beacons

We may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies (which may include web beacons) to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and help secure the Service.

3) How We Use Information

4) Photo / Face Data and Biometrics

Thril does not perform facial recognition and does not create or store biometric identifiers for identification purposes.

If you use photo-processing features (for example, to generate a one-time output):

  • No identification: we do not use photos to identify you.
  • One-time processing: only to provide the requested result.
  • Deletion: inputs and outputs are deleted after processing (or within a short operational window).
  • Local storage by default: where supported, results are stored on your device.
  • No training / no marketing: not used to train models or for advertising/marketing.

5) AI-Assisted or Automated Processing (If You Choose to Use It)

Some optional features may involve automated processing of text or images to produce a one-time result from content you upload.

  • Our servers: processing may occur on servers controlled by Thril Team.
  • No third-party sharing: uploaded text/images for these features are not shared with third parties.
  • Deletion: inputs and outputs are deleted immediately after processing (or within a short window).
  • Your control: you choose whether to upload content and generate outputs.

6) How We Share Information

  • With your consent, when you direct us to share.
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations, limited to the minimum necessary.
  • Legal and safety reasons (lawful requests, fraud prevention, protecting rights and safety).
  • Business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information.

7) International Data Transfers

Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other lawful mechanisms.

8) Security

  • Encryption in transit and at rest (where appropriate).
  • Access controls and least-privilege policies.
  • Audits, monitoring, and incident response practices.
  • Backups and resilience measures.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Data Retention

  • Account data: while your account is active.
  • After account deletion: delete/anonymize within 30 days, unless legally required otherwise.
  • Usage analytics: up to 12 months.
  • Support content: up to 6 months.

10) Your Rights and Choices

11) Children / Minimum Age

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 17 years old to use Thril.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last Updated” date and provide notice where appropriate.

14) Governing Law / Disputes

This policy is governed by the laws of the place where Thril Team primarily operates. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration as described in the User Agreement, except where prohibited by law.
